Rude people occur everywhere. Some are literal in their rudeness: they pack bags while the teacher talks while the more subtle and ironic ones cut the teacher short to make a speech about politeness. I recognize your comment about the questionaire, I noticed it too. I would like to add to your story that I was very annoyed by the packing-the-bags-in-class and did not know how to communicate it to the class. I did not want to be the one with the annoying pointing finger. My comment saying: "Maybe it's cultural diversity, but..." was ment sarcastically, considering everyone being tired of those political correct terms.
