I couldn’t agree with you more. Rude people occur everywhere.
Some are literal in their rudeness: they pack bags while the teacher talks while the more subtle and ironic ones cut the teacher short to make a speech about politeness.
Moral of the story-- Deep down, we are all the same; each one is as (un)cultured as the other.
P.S. - No sarcasm intended in this one :)

Thanks for your insightful comment about your experiences. I recognize your comment about the questionaire, I noticed it too. 
I would like to add to your story that I was very annoyed by the packing-the-bags-in-class and did not know how to communicate it to the class. I did not want to be the one with the annoying pointing finger. My comment saying: &quot;Maybe it&#039;s cultural diversity, but...&quot; was ment sarcastically, considering everyone being tired of those political correct terms. There is not one single cell in my brains which thinks that people in any other culture, nor my own, would necessarily all pack their bags before the class ends.
